Stage 1 Design, Engineering and Technologies
Wood and Metal
In Stage 2 Material Solutions, students use the design and realisation process to engineer solutions for the development of products or systems. The context of this area of DT&E has a woodwork and metalwork focus with the inclusion of CAD graphics and 2D/3D printing.
The students will investigate existing products and systems through research, physical exploration, practice, and apply their findings to create a timber/metal solution to the set problem.
