Stage 1 Drama
In Drama, students watch, and critique live and filmed theatre performances, participate in workshops, and engage in planning, rehearsing, and performing dramatic works.
The course emphasises group work and performances. Students explore and use dramatic ideas, roles, texts, conventions, styles, processes, and technologies.
Stage 2 Drama consists of the following two areas of dramatic study:
The two areas of study integrate exploring, analysing, conceiving, creating, making, and evaluating drama.
This course includes Dramatic Performance (Group Production and Creative Presentation), requiring commitment to out-of-hours rehearsals and performances. Students and parents should consider this when choosing the subject.
