Subject Description

Students will be involved in one to three practical explorations, one personal venture and one connections experience(s).

This very flexible course permits individual students to develop further skills and knowledge in their chosen passion through involvement in both their school and club environments.

There will be a cost for this subject TBC.

Content

Students undertake skill development and reflection (practical exploration) and are provided opportunity to specialise in two aspects of sport/physical activity that interests them (personal venture and connections).

Assessment

Practical Exploration (40%)

  • Engage in practical activities (such as team sport, individual sport) with a focus on reflecting on their learning and progress.

Connections (30%)

  • Coaching, event planning (supporting with interschool sport event, sports day etc)

Personal Endeavor (30%)

  • Investigate and analyses a contemporary sports issue or topic. Select one of the capabilities to be developed within their person endeavor and link it with the area of their person interest.
