Subject Description

In Material Solutions, students use the design and realisation process to engineer solutions for the development of products or systems. The context in this area of Design, Technology and Engineering has a Metalwork focus with the inclusion of creative graphics.

The students will investigate existing products and systems through research, physical exploration, practice, and apply their findings to create a metal solution to the set problem.

Only one semester of Material Solutions (Metal) can be undertaken in any given year.
