Subject Description

The nature of the History Mysteries course is one that caters for students who love History.

Students will delve into a significant historical topic of their choice investigating its impact on society, cluture, politics and the lives of people before, during and after the event. 

Content

Content will be negotiated with students. Topics can include events from the ancient through to the modern world. There will be a combination of areas of study including  teacher-lead and student directed topics.

Assessment

Assessment may consist of:

  • Guided research task
  • Source analysis
  • Seminar presentation
  • Essay
