Our leisurely mornings were just a distant memory this morning, with a 7.00am departure from our hotel raising our poppets early from their accustomed slumber. While we may have been departing in the wee hours, we all made sure we allowed enough time to have our supplied breakfast (we’ve become quite accustomed to our cooked start to the day, not sure how we’ll adapt when we get home).

We woke up this morning to the gorgeous scenery of Sutherlin where we were surrounded by mountains and treated to unseasonably warm weather – some of the tour troop even broke out the shorts (the locals looked at us strangely…..but that’s probably not because of the shorts 😊).
