Last Friday 6 April, Tenison Woods College held the Year 3-7 Sports day at Marist Park. It is a very big day in the sporting calendar and is the culmination of a term’s worth of athletic practice and trialling. Students were treated to a spectacular day, making it even more enjoyable for parents to spectate.

School Crossing Lights not activated this Friday |
Due to inconveniences, the school crossing lights on Shepherdson road are unable to be activated until 3:00pm each day. This means, with an early dismissal this Friday 13 April (2:15pm for Junior School and 2:20pm for Middle and Senior School), the lights will not be flashing. We are still waiting for confirmation from authorities on whether the lights can be adjusted, but please exercise caution and take care...

OSHC Vacation Care Program Term 1 |
Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is a stand alone service run by Tenison Woods College and runs from the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), next to the Barrie Holmes Stadium. It is available for school aged children aged from five years old up to 13 years old.
OSHC provides multiple types of care for children, including Vacation Care. Please click here to view the OSHC Vacation Care Program for the Term 1 School Holidays.

PE Uniforms to be Returned |
The HPE Department is looking for missing Tenison Woods College Sports uniforms such as athletics singlets, netball dresses, basketball singlets and shorts. If you have any of these items at home, please return them to the PE office as soon as possible. These items are the property of the College and will need to be returned by the end of this term.

Winter Uniform for Term 2 and 3 |
All students will be required to wear the winter uniform from the beginning of Term 2. Please remember that all uniform items must adhere to the Uniform Policy which is available on the College website or in student planners. One thing to note is that girls from Years 3 – 12 now have the option of wearing trousers as an alternative to the College skirt. These trousers are available from the Uniform Shop. SAPSASA Hockey and Soccer Tryouts |
Please be aware that dates originally scheduled for Hockey and Soccer SAPSASA tryouts have changed.
Soccer:
- Original tryout date: Thursday 3 May
- New tryout date: Thursday 10 May
Hockey
- Original tryout date: Friday 4 May
- New tryout date: Friday 11 May
Nomination forms and information for parents (including location of tryouts) will be sent out on the first day of Term 2.

Youth Week |
SA Youth Week will be held in the first week of the school holidays from 13-22 April, 2018. The theme for this year is Your Future, Your Way for youth aged 12-25 years.
Events have been planned across the Wattle Range Council area including scooter coaching and demonstrations in Millicent, Beachport and Penola; cooking events with Kirby Shearing and Melissa Armfield; fishing clinic at Beachport; movies; Escape Room; Maker Space; Surf Event; mug decorating with Mel Cecotti and more.
