Prime Minister Inspires Our Young Leaders |
Principal David Mezinec, along with School Captains, Lauren Holmes and Jordan Gould, had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, on Monday 15 May in Mount Gambier. Lauren and Jordan joined other school captains from across the Lower South East in Mr Tony Pasin’s office to share some time of inspiration and discussion. The Prime Minister met each school captain and principal, shared his thoughts on leadership, asked about the nature of their motivation to become involved in school leadership and fielded questions about his own role as the country’s leader. The meeting concluded with a range of photos; evidence of a very generous gesture from Tony and Malcolm to inspire our country’s potential future leaders. We thank Tony and his staff for organising this meeting and offering our school leaders a very memorable afternoon.

Middle School Enviro Team Fundraiser |
The Middle School Enviro Team are raising funds for a camp they hope to attend at Monarto Zoo in September. The team are selling a variety of plants for $2.00 outside of the Front Office at the College. There are a mix of herbs and vegetables for sale, including broccoli, spinach, bok choi, coriander, parsley, sunflower and chickpea. The Enviro Team have grown the plants from seedlings themselves and they are now at the perfect stage to be planted into your own veggie patch or herb garden. Help support these students who are doing their best to help our environment.
