Throughout this week, 17 Tenison Woods College Electrotech students were involved in our first major solar install for the year.
The Year 10 and 11 students all undertook a rigorous safety component and introduction to the renewables sector over the course of the term. The install marks one of four proposed for 2019, each to the value of roughly 25kw and significantly reducing our College’s energy footprint while providing our students an authentic real world, trade based experience.
Our experienced educators, Brad Colliver and Brad Marcus were extremely pleased with the team’s communication, work efficiency and application of skills. A great demonstration of our Technology students shining and leaving their own individual footprint on our College site.
