This evening at 7:30pm, the Annual General Meeting of the Tenison Woods College Board will meet in the Pam Ronan Centre. As per other years, the AGM will be a showcase and presentation of reports from the Annual School report.
This year’s AGM will feature a presentation from Year 12 Student and Regional Lions Youth of the Year, Breydon Verryt-Reid. He will speak about the Australian Air Force Cadets and the Battle of Amiens.
We will also feature Action Research Presentations from our AR18 endeavours, by:

- Can more explicit teaching of performance standards, and requirement for self-assessment improve student achievement?
Kaitlin Egan
- Will the use of Instagram to share images and videos of students’ practical work increase their skills in presentation, time management and application to real world contexts?
Hayley Morgan and Katie Window
- Does the use of a 'Wonderwall' as a springboard for inquiry learning, support children to become critical thinkers through active involvement in meaningful knowledge construction?
Dom Dunn
- Sharing documentation with families - reflections and refinement.

- Tenison’s off-grid ambition and the students who will get us there.
The Tenison Woods College Board is comprised of members from the school community, parish community and staff. It is an advisory group to the Principal that oversees the strategic planning, financial management and policy ratification for the College Community.
The President of the Tenison Woods College Board is Father Dean Marin.

Our sincere thanks is offered to Board Chair Emma-Kate Griffiths. Emma-Kate has served as Board Chair for the past 2 years and has been an active member of the Board since 2014.
We also thank Brian O’Connor who served as Parish Pastoral Council Representative for 2018. Cathy Shentall will be the Parish Pastoral Council Representative for 2019 and we welcome Cathy to the Board.
