As part of our Pastoral Care program all Year 8 students will participate in the Life Changer Program. They will have a series of 6 sessions with qualified trainers and mentors. These workshops will begin on March 18 and will conclude in early June and will all be held during school hours. These sessions are interactive, informative and fun for the students.
Students will learn concepts such as problem solving, resilience, gratitude and goal setting. They will have an opportunity to delve more into what they're passionate about and how these passions can give them a better sense of purpose. Students will better understand the importance of fuelling their bodies and minds with the right activities from nutrition to meditation and yoga. The workshops will culminate in a 'Tribe' event to be held in June that all are invited to attend. Life Changer's workshops are all based on positive psychology.
We encourage all parents to attend an Information Night on Monday 18 March from 6:00pm-6:45pm at the College in the Pam Ronan Centre Lecture Theatre to hear about the LifeChanger workshops. Year 8 students are also asked to attend.
Please come along to hear more about the program and for the Life Changer team to answer any questions you may have.
