Awesome Authors is a new space to showcase outstanding work from English students in Years 8-12. Saige Gibson is the first Awesome Author for the year.

Saige completed this detailed and engaging Coat of Arms to represent her passions and her personality. 

The work reveals Saige’s love of family, friends and nature and her appreciation of her free and happy lifestyle.  Saige is in Year 8 and is new to the Tenison Woods College community. 

She completed her junior schooling at Millicent North Primary School. Saige’s hobbies include netball, basketball and soccer.

Her motto, ‘things happen for a reason’ reflects her belief that even when things look bad or worrying, there is always something good to come from it.
