Last Thursday we gathered to commence the year as a Catholic School community with Mass at Marist Park. Just as Jesus told the disciples to let their light shine for all to see, this year at Tenison Woods College, we are being challenged to do this for the betterment of ourselves and others.
I thank Father Dean for celebrating the Mass with us and offering his inspirational homily about having the confidence in oneself and the gifts given to us by our God, in amongst all the insecurities and fragility we have as people.
Thank you to the Catholic Identity and Mission Team, ICT Team, Grounds Team and PR and Events Team for their efforts in preparing for the wonderful celebration, in addition to the Drum Corp, servers, readers and special ministers for offering their gifts and talents to the celebration.
It was wonderful to see parents and grandparents join in the celebration with us.
