Tenison Woods College currently has 4 teams competing in the 2018 Australian Schools National Basketball Championship.
180 teams and more than 2000 players are competing in the National Championship. The Opening Ceremony took place on Sunday 2 December, 2018 at the State Basketball Centre, Victoria. Games are also being played at Knox and Dandenong through this week.
The College is represented in the Under 17 boys and girls and Under 20 men and women competitions.
Competition continues until Friday 7 December, however at the time of publishing, the College’s U17 girls are sitting top in their pool. The U20 women remain unbeaten. The U20 men have enjoyed a couple of wins, while the U17 boys are continuing to play strongly, but the competition is very, very tough.
Full results will be presented in next week’s newsletter.
