Congratulations to Caitlyn Poel who has been selected to work with leading researchers at SAHMRI in Week 8.
Along with the assistance of Sean Quirke and Stacey Bradley, Caitlyn applied for the South Australia Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) Masterclass Competition.
I am so pleased that she has won and been offered one of 14 places in the state.
This highlights the outstanding calibre of young people we have at Tenison Woods College and is a credit to the College and its Teachers.
Caitlyn has asked me to accompany her to the event where she will participate in a workshop around the latest research in nutrition and metabolism. The area in which she targeted her video application.
On top of a hectic exam revision schedule and all the other pressures of Year 12 at this time of year, she has really ‘Let her light shine’!
