We were thrilled to offer all HPSP students in Year 8 – 12 the opportunity to attend our first-ever overnight camp on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 November at Marist Park.
The camp was a combination of team orientated, intense full-body cardiovascular and strength workouts, with problem solving and mental challenges aimed at taking the student athletes out of their comfort zone.
The four trainers were very impressed with the College, the HPSP and most importantly the attitudes of the students. Students were extremely well behaved and engaged. They displayed enormous mental toughness and resilience to achieve success over the 24 hours.
The HPSP Coaches are hoping the student-athletes can reflect on their experience, identify the skills they have developed or refreshed, and transfer these skills into everyday life.
Special thanks to our amazing trainers from Travelfit360 - Rob Coad and the team were incredible!
We also wish to thank Quality Inn Presidential and She’s Apples for their support.
And finally, thanks to the students and all staff involved in supporting this camp!
