Newsroom
The tip of the week this week will once again focus on updating parent contact details in PAM, namely parent’s emails and STEMtember.
Updating contact details in PAM
Firstly, as reminder, each family receives a unique PAM login at the time of enrolment, which includes a username and password. For existing families, the login details will roll over each year.
Every family has access to a PAM account which can be opened from the Tenison Woods College Website or by just entering pam.tenison.catholic.edu.au into any web browser, or alternatively it can be opened in the SkoolBag app.
I am keen to remind parents this week to update their contact email in PAM to assist in providing quick correspondence from the College and from the teacher/s of your child. To update email details families are invited to log into PAM. Click on the top right-hand corner to access “My Settings”. Families will be prompted to either enter an email address or verify an email address. Please follow the prompts to complete either of these actions to ensure the current email address is valid and correct.
Junior School and year 6/7 STEMtember Display
Parents and families are invited and highly encouraged to attend the wonderful Junior School and Year 6/7 STEMtember display of student learning inquiry and challenge Tuesday 18th September. The Junior School and Year 6/7 Stem display is one of many events taking place during ‘STEMtember’ at Tenison Woods College, a month-long celebration of STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This display provides the opportunity to appreciate contemporary learning and pedagogical approaches, which highlights multi-discipline and integrated problem-based learning, innovative and authentic curriculum, and incorporating real world applications. The Junior School students and the Year 6/7 students will showcase their learning from their integrated learning sessions in class which have also been designed to inspire and foster student's inner curiosity for problem solving using critical, creative and collaborative skills through STEM-based activities.
