Staff Reflection Day - Friday 7 September

11.09.18

Last Friday, staff from the 3 Catholic schools in the Limestone Coast gathered at the Racecourse for their biannual Regional Staff Reflection Day. The day was facilitated by Rev Dr Michael Trainor, senior lecturer at the Australian Catholic University. Fr Trainor led staff through various stories and reflections where they were given opportunities to recognise the presence of God and moments of Grace in their own lives. Through the use of Scripture, Fr Trainor explored the context of the life of Jesus and the relevance of having the message of Jesus as central to our work in Catholic schools. The afternoon gave staff the opportunity to work in mixed groups to discuss the implications of what they had heard on their personal and professional lives. The day concluded with Fr Michael Romeo celebrating mass with the assistance of Fr Michael Trainor and Anthony Beltrame.

Staff from St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, Mary MacKillop Memorial School and Tenison Woods College enjoyed the day together and left with a feeling of deep appreciation for the gift of Catholic Education they provide in our region.
