Last Wednesday, a group of Year 8 Students presented a Vinnies Fashion Parade along with a cake stall and sausage sizzle! Some of the senior students took the opportunity to 'marry-off' the College Captains!
The aim of the Parade was to showcase the wonderful range of clothing always available for purchase from the Vinnies shops. Money raised from the sale of the cakes and sausages went to the Vinnies Winter Appeal, providing warm clothes and bedding for people in need in our region.
Well done to the Middle School Social Justice group and the whole of Class 8C under the leadership of Ms Chris Lloyd for organising this event to raise funds for Vinnies.
Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
