The last week of Term 2 was full of celebrations at the Early Learning and Community Centre with the special graduation of 9 kindy children.
The Graduation ceremony is about celebrating the child, their learning, connections with others and their world. Families, friends and educators were all present to celebrate the child - their voice, views, thoughts and events of their time at the Centre.
A beautiful collation of the children was compiled and viewed by all – giving each child a memory to keep of their time with up - to view the video click here. The children also sang a song, highlighting how they will continue to grow and learn new things.
Saying goodbye to some of our families (some who have been with us for 3 years) is always bittersweet, but they are always welcome to visit.
We wish them all a wonderful journey to school and know that they will continue to use all the skills, confidence and connections they have made, in their new environments.
We know we will continue to see them as they venture out to the play areas at the school and wave to us!
We also welcomed new children and families to the Centre and wish them all happy times with us.
