Are you interested in learning more about a career in health?

Current students at Flinders University who are studying a range of health degrees (Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health) will be holding an information session on 4 September from 10.00am to 1.00pm at the Flinders University Rural Health Clinic, 24 Vivienne Street, Mount Gambier.  

The aim of this visit is to expose students to a variety of health disciplines and provide them with an insight into pathways and entry requirements for their chosen path of study. This event is free and is a fun and interactive way where you can learn more about health careers, pathways to study and have the opportunity to speak with current Flinders University health students who are studying a variety of health disciplines.

This event is open to Year 9-11 students interested in learning more about a career in health.

  • Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm
  • Where: Flinders University Rural Health Clinic, Mount Gambier
  • Transport: A school bus will depart Tenison Woods College at 9.45am sharp and return to school at the end of the session
  • Cost: $1.00 for the bus

If you are interested in attending, please email Jody Elliott, providing your name, year of study and the name of your home group teacher. Places are limited to 20. You will then be provided with a letter for your parent’s approval to attend. Once the places are filled, no further requests to attend will be accepted.
