This week’s focus is on the Tenison Woods College SkoolBag App.

The SkoolBag App offers a simple, central platform where information flows fast and reaches the right people at the right time. Through convenient features, families are equipped with all the essential information to support their child’s education, to nurture their children and grow a supportive school community.

Recently, the SkoolBag App was upgraded (V3) to provide families with greater control over the notifications received. All parents/carers will be required to sign up (whereas in the past there was no need to login). The upgrade allows the opportunity to learn more about your child’s learning, education and information relating to the events at Tenison Woods College.

The updated App now contains notifications in one location, as well as the ability to subscribe to content groups that relate specifically to your child. Being able to personalise the app in this way means you will only see content that is relevant to your child/ren.

If you are yet to open or download the Skoolbag App since the upgrade, you will see a ‘Welcome Back’ screen. Below are some steps to follow to create an account:

When you see the welcome screen, press ‘continue’ and follow the prompts.
You will reach a screen that says ‘Create an Account’, press ‘Get Started’
You will be asked to enter your email address. Do this and then press ‘Get Started’.
You will be taken to a screen that says, ‘Looks like this is your first time’. Once here, follow the prompts to enter your details.

• Press Next
• On the next screen, you will be asked to create a password. Do this and then click ‘create an account’.
• You will reach a screen that says ‘Registration completed successfully’.
• Press ‘Login’

You can now use the new Skoolbag! Remember to subscribe to the groups you would like to receive notifications for.

Having a username and password for the App enables users to save their Group Subscriptions settings across multiple devices.
