Tenison Woods College is currently looking for two short-term host families. One family for a 17-year-old female Italian student and one family for a 15-16 year old Spanish student. Both students come to us from “Students of the World” who are based in Adelaide. We have previously hosted students through this company and they have come to us with excellent English and have slotted in to our school and with their host families effortlessly.
(1) Italian Student
Francesca is a 17-year-old Italian student who will be studying at Tenison Woods College from 14 July through to 8 September, 2018. Francesca comes from Bordighera, Italy which is a small town on the Italian/French border. Francesca’s parents are both chemists and as a family they have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Greece and Egypt. Francesca has also studied short term in the USA, England and Ireland. Francesca plays the flute, skis, loves younger children and spending time with friends.
(2) Spanish Student
We also have the possibility of hosting a Spanish student from 21 July through to 28 September, 2018. The College has been sent a list of Spanish students, both male and female, aged 15-16 years. We can choose a student from this list. The student’s hobbies range from soccer, running, reading, basketball, fishing, camping, cooking, playing an instrument, baseball, swimming etc.
Students of the World also offer our students the opportunity to travel to either Italy or France to study short term during the months of November through to January. Our students stay with a host family while studying in Italy/France.
If you would like to discuss hosting one of these students, or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on clifa@tenison.catholic.edu.au.
