Newsroom
This week, the tip of the week will focus on the upcoming Parent Teacher Interviews.
Parent Teacher interviews are an opportunity to learn more about your child’s learning, progress and to plan with the teacher how you can support your child. The interviews provide additional information which supports the information provided in PAM in relation to your child’s learning. We encourage you (parents/carers) to take the opportunity to meet with your child’s/ren’s teachers for the interviews in the spirit of continuing to build strong partnerships.
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held in Week 3 of this term on Tuesday 15 May and Thursday 17 May. The interview evenings will be held at the College in the Pam Ronan Centre (PRC). For students in Reception to Year 7, interviews will be held between 4.00pm and 6.30pm on both evenings. For students in Year 8 to Year 12, interviews will be held between 4.00pm and 8.00pm on both evenings.
Interview requests can now be made via PAM and must be completed by 8.00am Friday 11 May. You will then be able to go back online from Friday evening (11 May) to download your interview schedule, or to change your booking times.
HOW TO BOOK INTERVIEWS?
Bookings for interviews will need to be made online and the easiest way to do this is by logging into PAM. Please use the unique booking code provided to you during the holidays (sent in the mail) to request interviews with your child’s current teachers.
Other options for booking interviews include logging on to www.edval.com.au/book, or alternatively go to the Tenison Woods College website home page by clicking on Parent Teacher Interviews under Quick Links at the bottom of the home page.
Once you have logged into the Interview scheduler, check for your child’s name and enter the unique booking code. If there is more than one child, click on the ‘Add’ link and enter the booking code for the second child and third child etc. To request interviews, click and drag on the teacher’s name you wish to have an interview with. Please ensure availability is confirmed.
JUNIOR PRIMARY STUDENTS
Letters have gone home to Junior Primary students today, with an option for parents to address any specific concerns or questions with class teachers. Please check your child’s bag for the letter and have the return slip back to school by this Friday 11 May.
