Thomas to Make a Splash on the National Stage

A big congratulations and good luck to Year 8 student Thomas Bignell, who next week will travel to Sydney to compete at the annual Australian Georgia Hope Foundation National Age Swimming Championships.
Thomas will get to compete in the same pool as those of Olympic Legends as he challenges for the national title at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
Thomas will compete in two events - the 200m and 100m Breaststroke.
Thomas says his goals for the meet are to improve on his personal bests and gain valuable experience of competing at such a high level for the first time.
