Languages week has begun at Tenison Woods College, with students enjoying a range of activities. Today with Italian Teacher, Alessandro Vecchiarelli, students learnt how to play Scopa & Briscola.
Junior school students were treated to a Bocce competition on the Junior Oval.
Attached is a Wordle with the different translations for joy. These were sent in by students and staff. Languages include: Dutch, Irish, Karen, Karenni, Burmese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, Maori, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, Swahili.
We look forward to the rest of the week as we celebrate the languages of our community.
