Week 10 will be dedicated to celebrating the many languages in our community as well as our students having the opportunity to participate in lunchtime language and cultural activities. Students will also be encouraged to enter a Language learning competition focusing on the importance of learning a language and valuing culture.
To celebrate Joy Week, we are also creating a resource which will include the many words for “joy” in our community. If you can add to this resource with this word from your language, please email Suzanne Pepe: pepes@tenison.catholic.edu.au
Updates of activities will be advertised over the week and we are looking forward to celebrating the rich and diverse languages at Tenison Woods College.
