Newsroom
On Shrove Tuesday we launched the Project Compassion appeal for 2018. A box was given to each class for donations and a small box is available for families who would like to collect at home and support Caritas Australia during Lent. This year the theme is ‘A Just Future’ and celebrates the Year of Youth.
As Pope Francis said, “Cultivate with love the seeds of goodness, beauty and truth that God sows in every new generation.”
Through your generosity during Project Compassion this year, you are empowering young people to build a just future for themselves, their families and their communities.
A Just Future starts with your support!

Youth Mass & Staff / Board Commissioning Mass
This weekend the Tenison Woods College staff and school board will be commissioned at both the 6.00pm Saturday mass and the 11.00am Sunday mass. The young people of our parish will lead the music and the readings at the Sunday mass as they will on the 3rd Sunday of each month in place of the 5.00pm fortnightly mass.
Family Mass & Sacramental Information
Please note that the Family Masses will now be held on the 4th Sunday of the month at 11:00am rather than the 1st Sunday as in previous years. The next Family Mass will be held next weekend on Sunday 25 February. Please contact Becky Higgins or Cisca Teodoro if you would like to be involved as a singer or a reader.
Liturgy of the Word for Children will be held this weekend on Saturday 17 February at 6:00pm and Sunday 18 February at 11:00am. It is a requirement for Sacramental candidates to attend one of these sessions. Siblings are welcome to join.
Due to Stational Mass at Naracoorte on Thursday 22 February, the next Family Session has been moved to Wednesday 21 February at 4:30-5:30pm or 7:00-8:00pm in the Tenison Woods College Staffroom.
Parish Mass
Mass is celebrated in the Tenison Woods College Chapel every Thursday at 9:00am during term time (please note the change of time from 9:15am). All members of the community are invited to attend. Each week the mass is attended and led by a different year level. The roster for the coming weeks is:
