There will be a Whole School Casual Day on Friday 16 June, to raise money for the Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club operates from the Home Economics area from Tuesday to Thursday each school week and serves breakfast to anywhere up to 45 students from all areas of the school. While some of these students line up for a second breakfast, for others it is the first food of their day.
Over the years, we have funded part of this service through wine drives, however, that is no longer as profitable as it was and is also a lot of work. We do have access to Foodbank for many of our supplies, but still need to purchase other items from supermarkets. Casual Clothes Day should raise enough funds to keep the Breakfast Club going for the rest of this year and well into next year.
