The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (RDWA) is holding a 3 day workshop from 11-13 July for year 10 & 11 students who are interested in studying medicine. 50 high school students across the state will attend to look at studying medicine at both Flinders and University of Adelaide, learn about courses, do practical clinical sessions and be introduced to the UMAT for admission into medicine at all universities in Australia.
Accommodation is provided at an Adelaide boarding school with staff providing 24 hour supervision, meals and travel arrangements to and from the workshop are organised by RDWA. This is for rural students only. All you need to do is to arrange and pay for the travel costs to and from Adelaide and apply online at www.ruraldoc.com.au/medspace-program .
