During the second week of the school holidays two coaches from the Celtic International Football Academy in Glasgow visited the region as guests of the High Performance Soccer Program. While in the region, the coaches visited the college and conducted a futsal clinic for students in the High Performance Program.
Our recently established IGNITE Program which was designed to cater for the needs of primary school athletes in years 4-7 who have the aspiration to be part of the HPSP, also took part in the clinic. At the completion of the session, a presentation occurred in the Pam Ronan Centre Lecture Theatre for the athletes and their families.
Many of our students then attended the three-day camp held in Mount Gambier and benefited greatly from the visit. We look forward to investigating further opportunities and would like to thank the Reagan Milstein Foundation for their ongoing support of the college and the wider community.
