Newsroom
It is great to see a large number of fundraising initiatives taking place across the school for Project Compassion. The tally on the window in the library will show our progress during Lent.
Youth Mass
On the second and fourth Sunday of every month there is a Youth Mass in St Paul’s Church. This mass has lots of energy with live music and young people leading the readings. If you haven’t yet experienced a Youth Mass in Mount Gambier, come along this Sunday at 5:00pm.
Lenten focus
There is a great app to use during Lent which provides videos, reflections and prayers each day: http://www.xt3.com/lent/.
Parish Picnic
Save the date for the annual Parish Picnic on Sunday 2 April from 12:00pm. A barbecue, cake stalls, games, face painting, music and entertainment will be included. This will be a great family event for all ages.
Stations of the Cross
Each Friday during Lent Stations of the Cross will be held in St Paul’s Church at 6:00pm. Families or individuals are invited to attend any of these. On Friday 17 March Stations will be led by staff and students of the Middle and Senior Schools and on Friday 7 April the Junior School will take the lead. Students who would like to be involved in either of these are asked to contact Michelle Coote at: cootm@tenison.catholic.edu.au.
Masses at the College
Mass is celebrated in the Tenison Woods College Chapel every Thursday at 9:15am during term time. All members of the community are invited to attend.
