Tenison Woods College swimmers smashed a long standing record in the U/14 Female Medley at the Catholic Co-Educational Secondary Swimming Carnival at the North Adelaide Aquatic Centre in Adelaide on Tuesday 28 February.
Hayley Pearson (Butterfly), Emma O’Callaghan (Backstroke), Kiah Connolly (Freestyle) and Ashleigh Spicer (Breaststroke) swam at a time of 2:26.57.
It was a dominant performance by a team of 20 Tenison Woods College swimmers, considering the strong competition. The students placed in 29 out of 78 events, including the medley and relays.
Age group results:
U/14 females – First place (144.50 points)
U/14 males combined – Second place (249.50 points)
U/16 females – Third place (72.00 points)
U/20 females – Third place (123.50 points)
