The Tenison Woods College community sends best wishes to four High Performance Sports Program student athletes Tess Wight, Jack Opperman, Jacob Armitage and Hannah Elliot who are competing at State level in the coming weeks.
Year 8 student athlete Tess Wight and Year 9 student athlete Jack Opperman are both representing South Australia in a National Cycling event to be held in Sydney next week.
Year 10 student athlete Hannah Elliot has been selected in the under 16 Women's Nationals team for the two kilometre Steeple Chase. Hannah will compete in two events (1500m and 800m) this weekend at the State Athletics Championships and hopes to be selected for Nationals.
Year 9 student athlete Jacob Armitage will also attend the State Athletics Championships this weekend, competing in three events. Jacob has already been selected to attend the Australian Junior Athletic Championships in Sydney later this year.
