Jayden Prior Cricket Tour

02.05.24

Congratulations to our Sport Leader, Jayden Prior who in Week 1 of the school holidays, flew to South Africa as part of the Jason Gillespie Academy Tour. Last year, Jayden was invited to Sri Lanka and this year saw him invited to the Under 19 side as a wicket keeper/ batter and coached by former Australian cricket player, Jason Gillespe himself. It was a true honour for Jayden at the Uniform Presentation held in Adelaide where he was named as Captain for the Under 19 side travelling to South Africa. It is a true testament to Jayden’s high level of skill, dedication and character as a great leader. The Tenison Woods College community wishes Jayden and his side all the best as they travel through South Africa over the course of two and a half weeks where they will face various cricket academies. The Jason Gillespie Academy will stay at the South Africa Cricket High Performance Resort for the first few nights and end their tour in Cape Town where they will play a 3-day test match. Congratulations and good luck, Jayden!
